CBD increases in popularity in states where it is legal and is expected to grow through snack foods and beverages as consumers become more comfortable and knowledgeable of the product. Starting January 1, 2020 about 1.3 million Americans in the restaurant industry will see an increase in their compensation if their annual salary does not exceed $35,568. This includes over time pay to restaurant managers, assistant managers, executive chefs and other managerial staff members.
